U16A

Our U16 Boys are into the next round of the National Cup with a 4 -0 win over Fairview Rangers.

Girls U16s

Girls U16s play in the LCDUL and got their league campaign underway this week 18/9 with an away fixture to a very strong Regional team. Despite going down to 2 early goals the girls battled hard and were competitive throughout. A fine performance by Alli Reeves in goals kept us in the game right to the end – Laoise hAodha managed to pull one back in the second half – but Regional strength and experience won through in the end winning 3-1. We had a number of U14s who made a big contribution, special mention to Aoibhinn Hayes in defence, Aisling Doran and Anna Carr in midfield and Emma Ryan up front. They worked very well together with our regular players Charlie Hanrahan.  Sarah Cleary marshalling in defence and Rachel O Dell and Emma Donohoe who threatened on a number of occasions and were unlucky not to score. Well done girls on a great performance.

Congratulations also to Abby McCarthy – who was selected for the Munster Schools U15s – and will be playing in an inter-pro tournament in Dublin at the end of October. A fantastic achievement and well deserved.

Girls U18s

Our U18s will be playing in the LWSSL U18s league – which will be starting Oct 9th

Training for U18s and U16s takes place every Mon 7-8pm. New players always welcome.

U14A

Our U14A boys team got their National Cup campaign off to a winning start. They played Tralee Dynamos and finished on a score line of 5-2. Goals from Adam Cummins and Darragh Murray either side of a Christopher Nwanko hat trick saw the home side progress to the next round.

Under 12 Girls

Well done to the girls who played away to Charleville in their first Prem league outing of the new season. The girls played some great football in very wet conditions. It was a great team performance with the defence working together as a unit, the midfield working hard up and down the pitch and the front players finishing some great attacks. The girls were deserving of their 2-6 win, with goals from Rebecca Shinnors (4) and Robyn McDarby (Capt. 2).
