Our club Aisling Annacotty AFC are hosting this annual tournament for boys and girls at the Under 10 and Under 11 age groups in support of Barnardos this Sunday 22 May 2016 in University of Limerick All Weather Pitches. First matches kick off at 10am & run all day.
8 teams from Munster are taking part in the tournament in the Under 10 & 11 Age Group. This is a tournament that many of our players and coaches have been involved in over the last 8 years and has been an important date in the soccer calendar each year.
As you may be aware, Barnardos is Ireland ’s leading children’s charity. Each year they work with children and families throughout Ireland . Barnardos also raises issues through their advocacy programme to make Ireland the best place in the world for all children in Ireland . Barnardos responds to the real difficulties of families. They meet children’s needs, providing services that challenge disadvantage, and offer new hope for children’s futures.
This is an extremely beneficial cause and is a wonderful opportunity to support. Many people will be working, all voluntary, to ensure the success on the day.
