Under 13 A's

The under 13 A team won the Under 13 premier League with 3 games to spare this season and have now won Premier League Trophies at under 11, under 12 and under 13 and remain unbeaten in three seasons in local league football. Unfortunately, we have not had the same success in Cup competitions and this season the players feel that they left the Regional and Local Cups behind and will be determined to put this right next season. Recent wins in the League have included a 6-0 victory v Fairview, 9-0 victory v Geraldines and 7-2 victory v Limerick FC. Goal scoring has not been an issue for the team this season except in the Cup Finals and the Team has scored almost 130 goals in 23 matches with Darragh Murray leading the scoring on 30 goals followed closely by John Ryan on 24. It is worth noting that goals were well distributed throughout the team this season with Paul Maloney, Leon Kirrane, Stephen Oydajei and Conal O'Duinn  all reaching double figures in the goal scoring charts. it is also worth noting that the defence was very frugal only conceding 20 goals over the season following excellent performances from all our defenders over the season with standout performance from Ben Hayes and Darren Nwankwo.

(Under 13 squad; Stephen Kiely, Ben Hayes, Darren Nwankwo, Finn Durack, Colm Lenihan, Leon Kirrane, Conal O'Duinn, Mark Murphy, Darragh Murray, John Ryan, Alex Carragher, Stephen Oydajei, Mark Kinsella, Ryan Beni Djupang, Paul Maloney, Ciaran Coulter, Muiris O'Dalaigh)

FAI Under 14 National Development Training

We would like to congratulate John Ryan, Mark Murphy and Leon Kirrane from the Under 13 A Team who have been selected for FAI Under 14 National Development Training in Dublin. It is a great honour for the Club to have three players selected and shows that there is a pathway to underage national representative teams for our players. Well done lads and best of luck for further progression.
