Table Quiz

It’s time to get ready for our annual table quiz. The quiz kicks off at 8pm on Friday May 11th in the Castletroy Park Hotel. The purpose of this event is to raise funds for the development of the club and its’ facilities. As some of you may be aware, we plan to redevelop our existing clubhouse facilities into a new Community Centre facility, incorporating our dressing rooms as well as the development of our main grass pitch.

A team can have no more than 4 players and costs €40 per team. The prize is €400 for the winning team. This is an important fundraising event and is great fun too.

Please contact Brian Doran (087 3633001) or Lenny Dolan (086 8970189) to book in your team.

FAI Summer School

The club is delighted to run a FAI Soccer School once again this summer. The camp will commence on Monday 2nd July. Book now on www.camps.fai.ie/summer-soccer

Match Report

U15A Cup Quarter Final

Regional 2- 9 Aisling Annacotty

Our U15A’s produced a dominant display away to Regional on Saturday to set up a semi-final tie against Fairview in the divisional Cup. A first half hat trick from Kai Joyce with goals from Alex Keehan, Robert O’Sullivan and Adam Cummins had us 6 up at the break. Playing some lovely one touch football our lead could easily have been doubled had it not been for the home keeper who produced some excellent stops. The second half was less convincing however and it took another superb effort from Joyce, his 4th of the day, and two cracking efforts from Jack O’Connor to keep us on course. Next up Caherdavin in the League on Wednesday evening.
